Why the same system behaves differently across the island
A flat behind a protected facade in the capital, a villa on rock above a harbour and a farmhouse at the end of a track are three installations with almost nothing in common but the equipment. One is limited by what may hang outside, one by salt and by where plant can physically stand, and one by what the electrical supply will carry.
Then there is the building itself. Thick stone takes a long time to warm and just as long to give the heat back, so it forgives a small system and punishes a badly controlled one. Thin block walls and generous glazing do the opposite: they gain heat quickly and lose it again overnight, and a system sized for the floor area rather than for the fabric will run hard and still lose the afternoon.
